How we do it
Those black streaks on asphalt shingles are algae, and they feed on the limestone filler in the shingles. Left alone, they spread and hold moisture against your roof. High pressure can strip shingle granules, so we clean roofs with a low-pressure soft wash that kills the growth and rinses it away.
Most homeowners are surprised how much brighter the whole house looks once the roof is clean. Pair it with a house wash and gutter cleaning to get the whole exterior done in one visit.
